  1. Upload the image — JPG, PNG and WEBP all work.

  2. Click anywhere on the picture to read that exact pixel's color.

  3. Copy the value as HEX, RGB or HSL with one click.

  4. Use the automatic palette of dominant colors to grab the image's main tones.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the dominant color palette calculated?

The image's pixels are grouped into color buckets (a simple quantization done on a canvas) and the most-populated buckets become the palette, each averaged so the swatch matches the photo rather than a rounded value.

Which color formats can I copy?

Every picked color is shown as HEX (#1a2b3c), RGB (rgb(26, 43, 60)) and HSL (hsl(210, 40%, 17%)), each with its own copy button — ready to paste into CSS or a design tool.

Is my photo uploaded to a server?

No. The image is drawn onto a canvas locally and every color is read in your browser — the file never leaves your device.
